Culinary experience with Hanoian women
Tam Cuisine Cooking Class
Established in 2017, Tam Cuisine boasts a special experience for international travelers to take a deep insight into Hanoi cuisine with women which is authentic & refined. DCT Responsible Travel has collaborated and supported Tam Cuisine with an expectation of preserving and spreading Hanoi’s traditional recipe & culinary customs.
Especially, this cooking class helps to improve income of Hanoian women there, simultaneously provides travelers a chance to closely connect and listen to Hanoian’s culinary styles & lifestyles.
Connect with White Thai ethnic communities
Mai Chau Project
Since 2023, we have been supporting Nhà Tân – Tân Homestay, nestled in a peaceful corner of Mai Chau. Tân is a White Thai woman living in a traditional stilt house that has been preserved by her 3-generation family. They expect to develop accommodation service based on this house to improve family’s economic status. Therefore, we have supported Tân in renovating the stilt house according to international tourism standards and designing various products to complete the Mai Chau package. The cheerful and warm family atmosphere, along with authentic experiences, are the highlights at Nhà Tân.
Khau Pha Friends
A Community-Based Tourism Project
Founder of DCT Responsible Travel - Lam Dang is also a co-founder of Khau Pha Friends, a community-based tourism project launched in 2018. Since then, we have acted as a consultant for KPF projects, especially in sustainable tourism to bring positive impact to ethnic communities in the Northwestern Region of Vietnam. Additionally, we believe that this is a way to provide authentic experiences for travelers with locals.

Khau Pha Community-Based Tourism
Nestled in a famous land for rice terraces – Mu Cang Chai, Khau Pha is still an authentic & serene village with a traditional house-on-stilt scattering in trails. Since 2018, we have supported Khau Pha Friends in consulting and designing travel products, including homestays, local guide, folk music, motorbike tour, trekking and cultural experiences such as indigo dying, H’Mong Batik,… By this way, tourism contributes to improving the livelihood of locals as well as encourages cultural exchange there.
Tay & Red Dzao ethnic communities
Lam Thuong Community-Based Tourism
Lam Thuong is a totally new land in Vietnam travel map, a peaceful and serene land. Since 2021, in collaboration with Khau Pha Friends, we has supported 4 households of the Tay in developing travel products, including renovating stilt houses & designing culture and nature xperiences based on local resources such as trekking, waterfall bathing, bamboo-hat making, bamboo rafting. We believe that this happy land & people will bring you smiles & unforgettable memories.
