Trekking in Cao Bang
After having our lunch at a local restaurant, we will arrive at Tra Linh in the afternoon and take a leisurely stroll around the scenic and peaceful surroundings. You will also get a chance to experience the beauty of Thang Hen Lake and go for a Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) ride to end the day on a refreshing note. Later, we will board our vehicle again and head up along the border belt to the remote parts of this province. Along the way, we will explore the gorgeous landscapes of Cao Bang and visit rustic traditional villages of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups. We will have our picnic lunch somewhere en route, where we can sit among nature, with farming cattle, and meet some locals. Today, we won't travel a long distance and will save some time to cycle around the destination. Phong Nam is an exotic spot ideal for enjoying the rice paddies with mountains surrounding and rivers flowing within. We will spend another night in a local homestay.Trekking in Cao Bang
After lunch, we will have two hours to enjoy the water of Quay Son River and do SUP. Later in the afternoon, we will pay a visit to Ban Gioc waterfall. Situated on the edge of Vietnam’s border with China, this waterfall is graded by three layers, with a height of 53 meters and a width of 300 meters, offering picturesque scenery. We will then check into a rustic homestay in the Rock Village. This village is unique in that it is home to ancient houses built by rock of Tay people. Note: The rainy season in Cao Bang is from June to September and the dry season is from October to May which may affect the scenery of Ban Gioc waterfall. The best moment to visit the waterfall is from August to September.Enjoy the picturesque scenery of Cao Bang.
The highlight of the day will be trekking up to Ha Lang's grassland, a terrain that you cannot find elsewhere. Up there, you will be captivated by the breathtaking view and be invigorated by the fresh air. Afterward, we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before heading back to Hanoi. We expect to arrive in Hanoi around 5 PM, marking the end of a truly remarkable journey.Private tour
