Details

Depart your hotel at 6 a.m. for Ha Giang city by a comfortable and spacious limousine bus. The journey will last about 7 hours. Upon arrival in Ha Giang, your private driver will be waiting for you and will take you to Ha Thanh village. Check-in TV Palm Lodge.  Ha Thanh Village - Ha Giang After that, you set off on a memorable walk through three villages of the Dzao ethnic group: Nà Thác, Khuổi My, and Lùng Vài. You will be invited to explore the charm of old houses with roofs covered by moss and the beauty of the vast rice terraces of the Dzao and Tays. At the end of the day, return to your lodge to enjoy the swimming pool and scenic view from the lodge.  Dinner at restaurant on your own. Overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, you will head to the Karst Plateau Geopark of Dong Van. The journey, which includes crossing the Bac Sum Pass and a small path to Tùng Vài, is an adventure in itself. If it's Friday, you're in luck - you'll get to visit the weekly ethnic market, a unique and vibrant experience. On other days, you'll explore the Tùng Vài Valley, home to the Bố Y and Tày ethnic groups who sustain themselves by cultivating vegetables. You'll get a rare glimpse into the life of a Bố Y family, one of the 16 ethnic groups that make up the diverse community of 54 in Vietnam. Lunch will be a delightful affair with the family. In the afternoon, you will continue along the small path to the village of Nậm Đăm, where you will spend the night. This village consists of traditional mud houses of the Dzao Áo Dài, who still maintain their culture and traditional lifestyle through solidarity tourism, which includes traditional dances, music, and handicraft demonstrations. Customer You can take a short walk around the village to help the family prepare dinner with "from farm to table" ingredients. You will have the opportunity to learn more about their cultural identity through dinner with the family.
An exciting day awaits as we discover the must-see places in Ha Giang. After breakfast in Nam Đam, we will continue our journey to Pho Cao. Prepare to be mesmerized by the heavenly gate of Lao Và Chái and the Thẩm Mã pass, both offering stunning views. We'll have lunch at a local restaurant in Pho Cao surrounded by the beauty of Ha Giang. Tham Ma Slope - Ha Giang In the afternoon, we'll head to the Chin Khoanh pass (Nine Ramps), a place of unparalleled beauty, and take a break to admire the breathtaking scenery of this famous pass (it is also an excellent place for a photo shoot). After that, we are invited to visit a H'mong family who have been practicing the silver carving trade for 6 generations in the ancient village of Lao Xa. Here we can chat with H'mong craftsmen and learn about the history of the family, their village, and the culture of the H'mong people who have lived on the rocky plateau for centuries. We'll then return to the main road to continue to Ma Lé, another tiny village of the Hmong ethnic group with ancient houses that are hundreds years old, each telling a unique story of the H'mong people's history. After a leisurely walk in a small path of the town, where we can stop and have a nice chat with local people, we will get back in the car and head to our lodge - Dinh Đá H'Mông -  a guesthouse inspired by H'mong cultural architectural works. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
If this day falls on a Sunday, you will have the opportunity to visit the most significant ethnic market in Ha Giang for a unique cultural experience. Here, the H'mong, who live in remote villages, gather to trade goods and agricultural products. You might even see the H'mong family you met in Lao Xa, adding a personal touch to your journey. Next, you will head towards Yen Minh and Du Gia, a remote commune of Ha Giang. On the way, you will traverse the Ma Pi Leng, one of Vietnam's four largest passes that connects the province's two highest districts: Dong Van and Meo Vac. The Ma Pi Leng Peak, a breathtaking viewpoint, will leave you in awe with its panoramic vistas of the Tu San Abyss, Nho Que River, and the Road of Happiness. After a brief rest at the Ma Pi Leng Peak, get ready for an exhilarating adventure as you descend and embark on a boat trip on the Nho Que River through the Tu San Canyon. This is the second highlight of the day, promising an unforgettable experience. The Tu San Canyon, Southeast Asia's deepest, is nestled in a valley with unique geological tectonics in Vietnam, adding an extra thrill to your journey. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Meo Vac, then continue today's journey to Du Già. Arrive in Du Già in the afternoon, check in To Day Du Gia lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Please note that the mountain view double included is in a house-on-stilts, thus you will share the restroom with an other room.  Private bungalow is available with an extra of 720,000 VND/night/person (~28.8 US $)
When you wake up at your homestay, you'll be greeted with a peaceful morning and a stunning view of the green terraced rice fields. If you feel like it, you can take a hike to Du Già Waterfall. However, make sure to return in good time because there are plenty of other exciting places to visit on the way back to Ha Giang. As planned, you'll get to explore Lùng Tám and Cán Tỷ, the White H’mong villages famous for their traditional brocade weaving crafts. Here, you can immerse yourself in the rich hemp weaving culture, which has been passed down through generations. You'll also learn the intricate 14-step process of creating hemp fabric for the H’mong. After having lunch in Quản Bạ, you'll head back to Ha Giang and hop on a bus to Hanoi.
