The first destination for your journey in Hue is the Imperial Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty. There, informative historical stories about the construction work of these buildings throughout 143 years, as well as the Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal period, will be conveyed to you by an audio guide.

Beyond that, in just 1 day, our distinctive tour will bring you a different yet genuine perspective on the Nguyen dynasty, especially the life in the harem through a historical character – an Empress Dowager, Đức Thánh Cung. This journey will take you to a history flow, from the days in her hometown, to when she entered the royal court to study and become an Imperial Noble Consort in the Forbidden City. Then, the King, her husband passed away and she spent 27 years of youth guarding his tomb. You will go through her final peaceful days and resting place at the end of the trip.
