Day 1: Saigon – Phan Thiet, city tour - Hoa Thang
Meals: lunch | Accommodation: Double room at Lang Chai lodgeDeparture from Saigon at 7.00 AM, you will travel to Phan Thiet city by limousine following the new expressway. After about 3 to 3.5 hours drive, arrive at Phan Thiet at 11.30 AM. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Accommodation in Phan Thiet
After lunch, you will come to visit Van Thuy Tu Temple - the most ancient temple holding great significance in preserving the traditions and beliefs of the Binh Thuan fishing community. Built in 1762 to worship the Grandfather fish (Cá Ông), this temple worships nearly 100 skeletons of Grandfather fishes (in fact, they are whales), and a large number of Sino-Nom cultural heritage related to fishing. After that, walk around in the city center to admire the houses captivating the interference between Vietnamese and Chinese architecture. Pay a visit to Duc Thanh, an ancient school with unique architecture that President Ho Chi Minh taught before leaving Vietnam in 1911. Then, explore the Phan Thiet market and the river port where fishing boats arrive daily, carrying the day's catch from the sea into the city center for trade.

Leave Phan Thiet City, and on the way to Hoa Thang, you will stop at Cham Poshanu temple - a sacred symbol of Champa with a 1200-year-old standing for prosperous periods of the Champa Kingdom and Hinduism. In the late afternoon, you will follow the magnificent coastline, through Mui Ne - a well-known but touristy spot to come to Hoa Thang while enjoying sunset into the sea. Time to say goodbye to your tour guide. Check-in your accommodation.Dinner at the lodge restaurant (on your charge) and overnight in a lodge nestled in a small fishing village.
