Meal: Dinner Explore Hanoi's hidden lanes and back streets on a cuisine adventure, starting at your hotel at 5 PM, taking you from the busiest corner of Hanoi's Old Quarter to its back streets. Choose from various street food menus to taste authentic Hanoi. They can be:
  • Banh Khuc (Sticky rice ball mixed with cudweed and filled with mung bean)
  • Pho Bo (Beef Pho - Noodle soup with beef)
  • Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich)
  • Banh Troi (Glutinous rice balls with mung beans filling in ginger syrup)
  • Egg coffee (Egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk, and robusta coffee)
Exploring Hanoi's Old Quarters, which comprise of 36 streets, is an excellent opportunity to discover the city's historical, commercial, and cultural center. While strolling from one eatery to another, don't forget to stop by one of the corners of Bia Hoi - a popular type of draught beer in Vietnam that is quite light with low alcohol content. You can enjoy a glass of this refTeareshing beer on the sidewalk while admiring the charming side of Hanoi's chaos. To conclude this amazing flavor journey, you will be invited to a renowned teahouse where you can explore a vast selection of teas from all over Vietnam, carefully curated by their owners. Around 9 pm, you can take a taxi and head to Quang An flower market, which is located in the Tây Hô district. The night market opens at 9 pm every day and becomes increasingly popular from 2 am to 5 am. Horticultural vendors from the surrounding provinces and villages come to sell all kinds of domestic and imported flowers at wholesale prices.
